The Chief Architect of the palace is Mr. Himet Singh Ji of FOUNDATIONS, New Delhi. Built in the Mughal and Rajputana schools of architecture, Noormahal Palace is the brilliant design of the renowned Indian architect and designer Mr. Himet Singh Ji brought to life our dream of building a Royal Palace of the Maharaja Era.

The idea behind building a palatial hotel in modern times was to simply offer authentic experience of historic architecture blended perfectly with all the modern amenities and opulence that luxury seekers can imagine. A landmark in itself, Noormahal Palace is a perfect representation of the beautiful ‘Palace Architecture’. Noormahal Palace Hotel has been built using the same multiple level system that was used to build palaces traditionally. In order to conserve the palatial landscape, the structure has intentionally been kept as a low-rise building. The palace endorses the opulent royalty of the era of Indian maharajas, flaunting an enchanting fusion of elements inspired from traditional Mughal and Rajputana schools of architecture. The elegant and intelligent use of both schools of architecture is evident in the domes, arches and pillars. A unique mélange of traditional royal essence accommodating modern amenities. Beautifully designed interiors reflect the surrounding style and influences, with marble flooring and the intricately crafted semi-precious stone inlay work, similar to that of the ‘Taj Mahal’. Traditional techniques have been used to create palatial innovations throughout the property - Mughal arches (of concrete, Dholpur stone and red Agra stone), handcrafted detailing, gold leaf frescos, high-domed ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers. The decorative gilt mouldings, sculpted marble columns, and fine fretwork screens reinforce this regal charm.
